*HOW CLEAN IS YOUR HEART?* 

 *Matthew 15:18-19 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:* 

Have you ever thought and ask your self, what makes me clean or dirty spiritually? The Bible calls sinners- filthy and righteous people- clean so, what makes the difference? Is it their lifestyle, actions or inactions that determine whether a man is clean or filthy. Our scripture focus for today, explains this. The Bible says it’s those things that comes out of our mouth that determine if we are clean or not; “Matthew 15:18- But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:” meanwhile, everything that you hear the mouth utter has its root from the heart. So the real question is “how clean is your heart?” You are as clean as your heart. A lot of heart stinks so much that even a devoted sinner will say, “ah, your heart is very dirty”, it is a function of your thought pattern. Matthew 12:34  O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. (You can continue to 37 on your own)
A lot of time people can’t control that part of them, their heart, they can’t seem to control what to think or what to ponder on. It is because, the food they give it is bad, so it digest bad stuff, hence its product smells. Are your thoughts clean? Is your lifestyle well arranged? If not, it might be because of your thought. There is a solution. The WORD of God. See this … Hebrews 4:12 -For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. The Word of God has the capacity to operate on your thoughts and remove everything that is not pleasant there. It will make sure that your thoughts are in accordance with the word of God. Another scripture talks about bringing every thought in obedience to the Word of God. But, all these are impossible without the Spirit of God in the life of a man, and no man can have the Spirit of God without accepting Jesus into their lives. 
Would you like to accept Him today, it’s very easy, just say the following words with a heart of sincerity and brokenness (Ps. 51). Say: *Lord Jesus, come into my life, forgive my sins, give me your Holy Spirit and let your Word operate in my mind and thought pattern to obey you and clean me up. Thank you Father, in Jesus mighty name. Amen.*
