Some of the most popular scary lines used in Nigeria to scare kids is “OJUJU is coming” “I WILL CALL OJUJU FOR YOU” “OJUJU CALABAR WILL CARRY YOU”.

😂On hearing this, many children will compose themselves and some will even start crying. Many of this children have their own fears, some even domestic animals like chicken, dog and cat scare them. Some even SANTA CLAUS😂😂 How can a baby be crying because of Santa Claus. 

Here is my point👇🏻

You can boldly laugh and be amazed at such childlike behavior not because it’s really not scary but because you have grown, you are mature✅

Basically, OJUJU is a guise for MASQUERADE and not all are dangerous. They aren’t really meant to actually, it’s just the way they are that makes them scary. 

I served in CALABAR, CROSS RIVER and it’s almost like this people doesn’t take OJUJU break. Everywhere you go, any day and anytime they like, they carry masquerade even some with Banana leaves yet it didn’t even affect. Infact, I just laugh at it.

You mean you laughed? Yes I did. So why does children cry over this things? Why should a child cry meeting SANTA CLAUS? Why will a child cry seeing cat, rat or cockroaches. It’s because he or she is a child.

What’s the solution? 

Simple!

Prayer isn’t the solution. If you like pray pray pray. Pray overnight gan. Doesn’t change the fact that when the child meets them again, he or she will cry.

Petting is a temporary solution, it wouldn’t last. Next time, they can still be scared with OJUJU.

To cut the long story short, GROWTH is the SOLUTION.

Haven realized this, we must understand many of our problems isn’t the DEVIL.

Infact words like “DEVIL, SATAN, WITCH, WIZARD, VILLAGE PEOPLE” are so fixed on the lips of some that they attribute every problems to such people.

Many are adults yet scared of cobwebs, scared of nightmares and all sorts of things.

The truth is, for a believer, this things aren’t the problem. The problem is, most believers are babes. They aren’t mature.

Not all issues even concerns prayer. Prayer is our breath as believers but some things just require we mature in Faith. Then they fall over, we just walk over them, just like that, you get?

The DEVIL basically has no power over you, WITCHES and WIZARD has no power over you.

And even if they are a threat, growth and maturity in Faith will give you the understanding that you have conquered and a victor over them.

Scripture exhorts we mature, taking strong meat. Going beyond being just babes, having milk. Those who remain as babes, are those who OJUJU will scare even when in actual fact, OJUJU has no power or effect over them.

Fine girl, is it clear?

Fine boy, do you understand?
