I will use one hour tonight to open the lecture . 

Tomorrow and next we will go deeper .

: The first word that comes to mind is 

ALORITE

Who is ALORITE?

What is ALORITE?

What is Aaronite? 

Tonight we will look into these words.

What is ALORITE?

Alorite mean  to catch or take something from and the definition of a alorite is a word that expresses action or a state of being. 

Another word for 

ALORITE is 

WATCHMAN

They're different from 

AARONITES

Aaron was high priest in isreal, so the Aaronites are known as priest.

So who are priests today? 

All believers in Christ.

 Now , under the New Covenant. The two had been merged into ONE

ALORITE + AARONITE 

= WATCHMAN (ALORE)

ALORITE : sees vision

AARONITE: Pray and intercede

 Where is the place we can see the word Watchman ? 

THE WATCHMAN (Alore)

Ezekiel 3:16-18

At the end of seven days the word of the LORD came to me, saying, 17 "Son of man, I have appointed you a watchman to the house of Israel; whenever you hear a word from My mouth, warn them from Me. 18 "When I say to the wicked, ’You will surely die,’ and you do not warn him or speak out to warn the wicked from his wicked way that he may live, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand.

God called Ezekiel 

Watchman (Alore)

Can someone post the Yoruba version of this Bible verse?

Just as the watchman is to primarily act as a guard by watching carefully for danger and to warn of its eventuality, so too has God appointed His messengers to watch out for spiritual dangers and warn of its coming destruction.

 ABRAHAM was Alore 

God said how will I destroy Sodom and gomorah without telling my servant about my plan ? 

So if something happened in your family and you didn't see or know , then your Alore is Questionable. 

Why?

Being called Alore doesn't mean  you must be speaking in tongues or shaking , No

Sometimes it comes that way

Alore is someone that sees vision, maybe in dream , visible , or hear from God by just inner knowing ... 

So don't limit Alore to shaking , speaking in tongues or trance

 When I was a young boy I enjoyed watching westerns and war movies. Now many of these movies would have a scene involving a campsite. At each campsite there would be sentries posted on the outer edges of the camp.

Now, the primary duty of a sentry was to act as a guard -

> He was to watch carefully for any signs of approaching danger.

> He was to warn those secure in the camp to get ready.

> He was to take up a defensive position to defend the camp.

So what happen when a city is taken suddenly by enemies ?

There watchmen have either

1. Slept on duty

2. Not on duty.

Now, in ancient Israel, sentries were called “watchmen.” Who were usually placed at the highest point in a city and would inform the inhabitants –

> Of the progress of a battle (1 Samuel 14:16).

> Of approaching messengers (2 Samuel 18:24-27).

> Of the danger of an oncoming army (2 Kings 9:17-20).

Just as these civil watchmen are to primarily act as a guard by watching carefully for danger and to warn of its eventuality, so too has God, His own, watchmen to watch out for spiritual dangers and warn of its coming destruction.

 So how do you position your self to see what will happen ?

A place of prayer.

Intercessory prayer

Many of you called Alore don't pray ... 

When you pray, you only pray for yourself not for others 

So how do you expect God to show you what will happen for others ?

 In our text, Ezekiel, by God’s appointment, is one of those watchmen.

> His duty was to “listen” attentively to God’s message.

> His duty was to “warn” concerning the message.

> His duty was to “accept” responsibility and share in the message.

 You can tell your plans to a stranger . It will be risky.

How do you expect God to show you his plan when you're a stranger in the place of prayer ?

God showed Abraham what he will do to Sodom and gomorah because ABRAHAM was praying for others 

He wasnt just praying for himself , he was praying for Sodom and gomorah

So you that you don't even pray ,  not to talk of praying for others , you expect God to show you his plan or Satan plan ? 

How na?

Why will someone go in trance in your church and yet your prophet is sleeping with choir member yet it won't be seen ? 

Why? 

It's because you have not gotten to OKE JORDANI

How will you be called Alore and you don't see?

Seeing is of three

1. Spiritual sight (imisi)

2. Dream 

3. Open vision

Yesternight I explained in details the words ALORITE , AARONITE and how they are WATCHMAN.

Today, we will go deep in the word POWER

 The Holy Spirit brings the power of God .

But the power of God is retained by the person of God. 

So HOLY SPIRIT operates in two folds

1. Power (Spirit Upon)

2. Person (Spirit within)

 In the old testament, they only had one operation of the spirit not the second .

They only had the 

1. Power

They didn't have 

The person.

 In the Old Testament ,the Holy Spirit came upon men at times, but they were not ‘indwelt’ constantly with the Holy Spirit.  

Consider the words of King David in the confession of his sins in Psalm 51:11-12 where he prayed, “Cast me not away from thy presence; and TAKE NOT THY HOLY SPIRIT FROM ME.

We read several times of how the Holy Spirit ‘came upon’ Samson in the Old Testament.  Many think of Samson as some sort of a Superman who had superhuman strength.  Actually, it was when the Spirit came upon him that he became strong.  Judges 15:14 speaks of Samson.  

It says, “And when he came unto Lehi, the Philistines shouted against him: and the Spirit of the LORD CAME MIGHTILY UPON HIM, and the cords that were upon his arms became as flax that was burnt with fire, and his bands loosed from off his hands.”  

We read of Gideon in Judges 6:34, “But the Spirit of the LORD came upon Gideon, and he blew a trumpet; and Abi-ezer was gathered after him.”

 The old testament people never had the 

Spirit within (person)

But they sometimes have the 

Spirit upon (power)

The spirit upon (power) do not stay because they don't have the spirit within(person)

 John 7:38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. 39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

THIS IS SPIRIT WITHIN (person ) promised .

 JOEL 2:28-29

 In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people; your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.

THE SPIRIT UPON (power)

Promised .

Now , let me say this 

Two fold of the Spirit

1. Spirit Upon (Power)

2. Spirit Within (Person)

Tonight , let's focus on number 1 

spirit Upon 

And tomorrow 

We talk about 

Number 2 

Spirit within

: On the day of penticost

What the Apostles receive was 

The Spirit upon (power) 

Act 2:3 

They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them.

Rest on them

Rest upon them

Now let me come home so you get it well.

Have you ever wonder why someone that is not born again will be speaking in tongues and be going on trance in your church and you wonder why

 When you see Alore go on trance or speak in tongues yet not born again 

Just know that he's just being used for a while , the spirit won't have a place to rest so it will leave 

This is why you see many Alore that do go in trance have marital issues , job problems , financial problems because when the "spirit come upon" them he has no place to rest and stay

 Alore life will be miserable one when the spirit always come upon them but have no place to stay

So , this is why you see that tongue speaking brother always impregnating sisters ...

You will see a lady speaking tongues , going on 9 days trance yet end up being single mother and struggling to eat yet anytime she's in service , the spirit will come upon her and she will deliver many but she won't be delivered

So, when the spirit of power comes on them, it makes them deliver people alot

But the spirit can't stay because they don't have room for him to stay

So when he leaves 

Those demons that the spirit cast out of release , will come back to the person and when they don't meet the spirit that cast them out , they influence the person to start making wrong choice and start misbehaving

Let me say this .

Let me talk about that odo jordani

 This Jordan river , is the river of Holy ghost.

Any Alore that goes in trance will be taken to this river but they must not cross over to the other side .

Why?

They won't come back again to life.

This is why some Alore die in trance

: Now listen to this , 

If you don't have people that are Spiritual, that can monitor you in spirit, don't go in trance journey , you may not come back

 It is far greater to have a self seclusion days before God than to go in trance journey where your life depends on the Spirituality of people around

Trance is not a gift

Speaking in tongues is a gift. But when you are only being used , but you don't know how to retain the spirit, you will soon become useless

ALORITE AND POWER OF GOD*

Yesterday I explain on the word POWER

Remember I told you 

The spirit is of two-fold

1. Power (spirit upon)

2. Person ( spirit within)

So tonight we go deep into the spirit within.

1. Spirit upon (power)

2. Spirit within (person)

The reason those prophets in old testament can't retain the spirit upon , was because they don't have the spirit within to make the spirit upon stay.

When their is no spirit within , the spirit upon will not stay.

Now, why is the spirit leaving ?

Answer: No place to rest.

The symbol of holy spirit in scripture is dove.

The first mention of dove in scripture is in the days of Noah after the flood 

What happened?

Genesis 8

1

But God remembered Noah and all the wild animals and the livestock that were with him in the ark, and he sent a wind over the earth, and the waters receded.

Now the springs of the deep and the floodgates of the heavens had been closed, and the rain had stopped falling from the sky.

The water receded steadily from the earth. At the end of the hundred and fifty days the water had gone down,

and on the seventeenth day of the seventh month the ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat.

The waters continued to recede until the tenth month, and on the first day of the tenth month the tops of the mountains became visible.

After forty days Noah opened the window he had made in the ark

and sent out a raven, and it kept flying back and forth until the water had dried up from the earth.

Then he sent out a dove to see if the water had receded from the surface of the ground.

But the dove could find no place to set its feet because there was water over all the surface of the earth; so it returned to Noah in the ark. He reached out his hand and took the dove and brought it back to himself in the ark.

 The reason the dove that Noah sent out could not stay was because it can't find a place of rest so it went back

Dove represent Holyspirit

Noah represent God

Ark represent heaven 

So dove do go back in old testament because it has no resting place

So this is why you see Alore in church that imisi will fall on them but their life has no meaning 

Because the spirit have no resting place.

 Why Did Jesus come?

Some say he came to save us . But he didnt say so

Some say, he came to die for our sins, but Jesus didn't say so

Some say , he came to redeem us , but Jesus didn't say so

Jesus gave the reason why he came 

And it wasn't to save us , or to forgive us or to die for us 

He came for a purpose 

What is it?

I will tell you

When Jesus came , he had to save us before he achieved his purpose but that wasn't  is purpose .

He had to die for our sin before he achieved the purpose he came , but that wasn't why he came .

Is like , I am going to Abuja , but i need to pass through ibadan , passing through ibadan is not where I am going but before I get to Abuja , I need to pass through ibadan by road.

So why did Jesus come ?

He came to give us the Life of God.

John 10:10

New International Version

10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life,(A) and have it to the full.(

 The life of God left Adam in the beginning. 

So all the saints in old testament couldn't retain Holyspirit because they don't have the life of God.

 That was why when Jesus get to Jordan to be baptized

The holy Spirit descended on him and it was never written again that the spirit come upon him again 

Why

The Holyspirit have a place to rest , so the Holyspirit didn't leave

 That was why throughout the life of Jesus , 

Jesus didn't speak in tongues.

He didn't need to shake 

You know why?

Holyspirit never left him because he carry the life of God that retain Holyspirit

So , Even Jesus words is the word of God 

He doesn't have to say 

The Lord says I should tell you ....bla bla

 Now let me break it down...

1. Spirit upon (power)

That's the gifts of spirit like speaking in tongues , interpretation...

2. Spirit within (person of God)

Fruits of the spirit e.g Love, joy 

The gift of God won't rest on you if you don't have the life of God in you.

 Galatians5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

 Now , the point God want all Alore to get to is NOT the spirit upon 

But spirit within

There are people , the only time people take your words serious is when you're under Imisi

But the moment you are not under imisi, they don't take you serious 

Such person only have the spirit upon not the spirit within

So the point God wants you to get to is THIS

When people look at you and they say Kai God with us.

How?

You don't have to shake , speak in tongues yet when you talk , people listen .

People don't question if it God talking or not , when you give advise , they write it down as if they are Writting vision

 God doesn't want you to go in trance before people take your words as word of God.

He wants your ordnary words to be the word of God .

 How can you get to that level? 

Psalm 119: 11

I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you

 What many Alore keep on their heart is malice not the word of God.

Some keep naira maley song I'm their heart

Not the word of God 

How do you want Holy spirit to stay?

 So , In conclusion, Jesus came to give us the Life of God .

All you need to do , is receive this life of God by faith .

Focus on him 

Then the spirit upon will rest in your life.

That's when you can stand firm as Alorite .
