  *JET-AGE QUEENS*

_Adewale Adeoba A._

They are created with natural beauty,
Endowed with magnificent soothing skin,
Carved without a single blunder,
And blessed with an unveiled glory.

Forgetting their class,
Emulating the mass,
And doing those wrong task,
Your punishment is stored in a gigantic flask.

Painting faces like those in the coven,
Attaching heads and incinerating their brain,
Fixing lashes and that so-called nail,
To avoid being classed a fogey or simpleton.

Wasting fortunes on clothes and make ups,
Yet, dressing half naked
To look attractive to men tagged 'cash card'
It's not too late for you now; quickly wake up.

Swindled of ulterior beauty,
Bragging over razed dignity,
Switched from decent to lascivious,
Ignorant of destiny bathos.

All gravitating in a wrong direction,
With similar perilous inclination,
None is ready to make correction,
Because of sycophants commendation.

They all want to be treated like a Queen,
After loosing their ulterior beauty in age-teen,
Come to your senses big girls in town,
As a Queen you must protect your dignity for the crown.
