PROVERBS

   These are collections of lessons about the behavior of things ( living and non -living) which reflects their character and ways of life.

   They gives understanding, makes an individual wise, increase knowledge, and reveals secrets.

   Valuable lessons that adds beauty to an individual's life are gotten from their PARENTS.

    There are three types of parent:

 * biological parents

 * foster parents

 * spiritual parents

   Beneficial lessons about life must not be taken from friends ( bad associates) as the present lies painted with envy and hatred inform of truth.

Conclusively, be careful with your source of lessons to avoid regrets and have a better life.

THE CALL OF WISDOM

Proverbs 1:20-33

  Wisdom is the revelation of facts or truth, obtained from words either spoken or written.

  To attain wisdom:

* Fear God

* Accept parental instructions

* Listen to counsel

* Keep associate with the wise

This gives you understanding, adds to your knowledge, enhance your safety and gives you comfort.

  Never reject the call of wisdom as it can lead to: 

- living in fear

- wallowing in challenges

- molestation

- mockery 

- agony 

- regrets.

Finally, wisdom can be obtained from anywhere and everywhere. No knowledge or idea is a waste. Therefore, to be wise in life embrace counseling and studying

THE CHURCH IS AN AGENT FOR CHANGE

TEXT: Acts 12 vs. 1- 16

M.V- John 16:24

      An agent for church is anyone who desires and strive for positive turnaround wherever he or she is found.

     The church of Christ of earth is meant to sweeten and lighten the world. This character can only be achieved when the people stand in their place of purpose i.e the place of prayer.Acts 4:24.

     Beloved, as a church made up of different people,we are to join hands together to attract the positive change we desire either for our home, local churches, nation and the world at large.

     The church must do away with criticism, rebellion and fear then call of God Esther 4: 14- 16 to attain the required change. 

The power of the church is in the secret place not in rebellion or physical weapons.

THE CHURCH OF CHRIST - We are over comers John 16: 33

MESSAGE TO THE JOSHUA'S OF OUR GENERATION

   Joshua's are people called or appointed to take over the mantle of leadership as a means to fulfill purpose and destiny.

   Wherever you find yourself as you journey toward the fulfilment of purpose avoid the principle of " Scatter to Re- gather" rather work with the people as you gradually establish the change you pictured. 

Phil. 2 vs. 1-4

Appreciate the work of your predecessor, correct the observed inadequacies with humility while you carry the mantle with fear and trembling, working towards perfection of the saints. 

   Beloved, scattering the people (flocks) in your place of assignments leaves you with an empty ground where you will need to begin from zero level- This is not God's principle

N:B - The scattering that took place in the garden of Eden due to the inadequacy of man took God the death of Jesus to Re- gather. Genesis 3, John 3 vs. 16- 17.

Moreso, scattering the people means destroying the work done by your predecessor - making all your predecessor's effort and work in the ministry amount to zero. Phil. 2 12 - 16.

     Dearly beloved, you are called to work with the guidelines received and operated by your predecessor, never to remove the ancient landmark because you have a modern landmark to establish. Jeremiah 6 vs 16. 

Remember, Joshua, Moses' predecessor never scatter to re- gather , also Peter, Jesus' predecessor never scatter the disciples.

Jesus said in Matthew 5 vs 17" I have not come to destroy the laws ( ancient landmarks) but to fulfill it"

BE A BUILDER NOT A DESTROYER.

THE TURN OF TIDE

Life is in circle, it is divided into two equal halves: the first half is the season of surplus and abundance, it is also known as the period of ability; the second half is the season of lack, pain and sorrow, it is also known as the period of inability.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8, John 9:4. 

N:B - Everyone will experience these two periods in life.

    Beloved, at your period of ability help others so as to obtain mercy and help when your time of inability arrives.1 Peter 5:2.

Likewise, when you are at your season of inability, avoid worries and anxiety Luke 12:22 -31 rather keep doing good through the small acts you can, the helper of the helpless will surely come through for you. Hebrew 6:10; Matthew 5:4,7; Hebrew 13: 5 - 6.

Zechariah 4:1-10 

Good morning beloved of God, Whatsoever project, course, business, pursuit e.t.c. you have started, you will complete. Receive the enablement from the Spirit of God and trust deeply in His ability, purpose, plan and power which is made available in the Grace of Christ. 

I pray for you this morning, you have started this year with the joy of the Lord, you will end it with his backup. Every spirit of Unfulfillment is destroyed in the name of Jesus. Agents of discouragement will not have power over you.Every mountain obstructing your latter end of joy and glorification is destroyed. Rejoice for the Lord is your strength.

INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS

Humans are social beings that cannot live in isolation. They function effectively with connectivity. 

  Every individual survives in life by relating with one another.

However, it is practically impossible to succeed in relationships without the essential keys:

1. Communication

2. Trust

3. Mutual Understanding

Any relationship that lack any or all these essentials cannot stand or strive. Such relationship will develop cracks through which the enemy can penetrate. 

Check your relationship and make amends before it collapses.

MESSAGE TO ALL LIGHT OF THE WORLD. 

Everyone born of God is become the salt and light of the world, therefore wherever you find yourself; you are to add value to such a place by shining the light of God in your life. Matthew 5 vs 13 -16

This you will adequately do when you follow the leading of God through the Holy spirit.You must therefore be careful of these factors of obstruction:

1. The dictate of the flesh. Gal. 5:19-21

2.The relationship you keep. 1 Cor. 15:33

3. The people around you. Gal. 1:10

These factors of obstruction can be used as a bait against an individual to quench the light of God in such life. Beware and be careful.

May the Lord help us all to stand firm, shining His light without falling prey to the world. Amen

SIX CATEGORY OF PEOPLE WE MEET IN RELATIONSHIP

1. The Deceivers: These are people likened to a signpost. They advice, guide and instruct but they act in opposition to their words. Matthew 23:1--5

2. The Cheaters: These are people who relate with you in other to takeaway what you have . 2 Sam. 11:2-4

3. The Avengers: These are people who relate with you in other to pay you back with your own coin. Judges 15:1-10, 16:4-5

4. The Wasters: These are people whose aim is to misuse you treasures. Luke 15:11-13

5. The Helpers: These are people who sacrifice their all for your betterment. Luke 10:33-35

6. The lovers: These are people who are related to each other by soul tie for safety, wellness and accountability. 1 Sam. 18:1-4,Eccl. 4:9-10.

Beloved, these are the group of people you will come around in your relationship. However, change is inevitable as a friend today can become an enemy tomorrow and and enemy today can become a friend tomorrow. Therefore, try to be friend with all with God's wisdom.
