OF THE UNKNOWN gods
Acts 17:23 - For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.
Many people are idol worshippers without knowing it, many men and women are high-priest  of kingdoms they never knew existed. Where do you serve or who do you serve? What is your God? Power, money, fame, game, phone, work. The Bible says in Ex. 20:3 that “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” 
Whatever or whoever, you attach your passion and emotion to more than God is what or who you serve. Jesus should be paramount in your heart. What you put more time to is what you serve with your heart. He that occupies most part of your heart is the God you serve. He wants the whole of our hearts. 
Many people has an idol in their heart, for some, it is someone they like or love, for some it is their job or children or friends, for many it is one part of their body or one property or the other that they acquire. What are you serving? 
What do you serve, who do you Worship? What is in your heart that you give reference to and love so much that you give plenty time than what you give God? Is it your WhatsApp or Facebook account? Be careful, it can see you off to hell o. Push it out of your life and turn back. Remember, Matthew 5:30- And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
Is there an addiction you are struggling with, or a person you adore (and probably abuse you still), maybe your issue is with food or an actual image in your heart or house? It is time to throw out all the unknown gods in your life, even if that God is a friend or person you place above God. If you are ready, confess these words with a broken and repentance ready heart. Say: Lord Jesus, forgive me for idol worshipping, accept me into your fold and give me a brand new life in Jesus mighty name I pray. Amen.
