*ANCEDRAM ADO-ODO/OTA UNIT SUCCINCT REPORT IN THE LAST 5YEARS (2019–2025)*

To God be the glory for the great and mighty things He has done in and through our Two tenures.

*SOME OF OUR ACHIEVEMENTS SO FAR*
1. We were elected into the office on Sunday 9th February, 2020, the year Covid-19 was so strong in Nigeria.
Due to that, we were warned not to have any physical meeting because of Government's order that forbids social gathering, so we didn't have any physical meeting and as new Executives in a fresh tenure, we began to look at what we can be doing, that's when we came up with the idea of utilising our long-existing but abandoned WhatsApp platform for meetings and the likes.

2. We later came up with organising a-two day Online Training where we had Deacon Moses Oyedokun (the past immediate Coordinator) who took us in Script writing and Acting in the first day, then on the second day, Bro. Lekan Salami took us in Terminology in Film making, those two days were really impactful moment.

3. Later, a decree was made by the then State chairman (Pst. Olumuyiwa Otasanya) that all the Local government should manage to shoot a skit that will not be more than Five minutes and upload it on Ancedram Ogun State YouTube channel.

We gathered some of the leaders and elders that we could find around, among them are (Deacon Moses Oyedokun, Pst. Balm Oyewale, Evang. Akeem Adeoye, Bro. Lekan Salami & myself) and we secretly had our meeting where we intensively discuss about it, so we agreed to go for a short film location which we successfully did.
The Script was written by Pst. Balm Oyewale and it was shot and edited by Bro. Lekan Salami – that happens to be the first film location Ancedram Ado-Odo/Ota Unit will be going for.
The title was 'Who Else'?
(Meaning that, Who Else can save us after all government could do to stop the spread of Corona Virus has woefully failed them, every other attempts to curb the spreading of the Corona Virus were proved abortive, so the conclusion of it all is to turn to God, for He alone can deliver us from this inflicted virus.
The film, 'Who Else' was shot and uploaded in May, 2020.

4. Another attempt to shoot another film by Ancedram Ado-Odo/Ota Unit was made on Saturday 15th January, 2022 but it was unable to be edited due to some technical issues and all efforts to trace the original copy we shot for backup proved abortive.
The title of the film was 'Wasted Effort', it was shot and to be edited by the Cameraman (Bro. Daniel Ajibade)
God understands better than us.

5. Because of the challenges we encountered in the previous shooting, we planned to go for another location on Saturday 24th September 2022 (Same year)
The title of the movie was 'My Handwork'...
It was shot and edited by Bro. Damilola Olaojo, Aka Famous.

6. We paid an official visit to Agbara subunit on Sunday 30th January, 2022.

7. We also paid an official visit to Ijoko Subunit on Sunday 20th February, 2022.

8. We attended the 17th Annual State Congress at Ikenne on February, 17th – 19th, 2022.

9. We attended Leadership & Excos Retreat at Ifo on May 14th, 2022.

10. We attended the first Yewa Area Congress at Owode on 27th – 28th August, 2021 with the theme 'Shining Light,' Matt. 5:16.

11. We attended the Second Yewa Area Congress at Ayetoro, Yewa North on 19th – 20th August, 2022.

12. We hosted the fourth Yewa Area Congress at CAC, Oke-Anu, Onibukun on 16th – 17th August, 2024 with the Theme 'The written suffering,' Luke 24:46.

13. Creating of Mass Choir, Ancedram Ado-Odo/Ota Unit.

14. Composition of Ancedram Ado-Odo/Ota Anthem which should be sung in our meeting days.

14. We had our Powerful Drama Night on Friday 28th May, 2021 at FGC, Isolosi, Ota with the Theme 'A chosen vessel' Acts 9:15.

★Graduation from Tertiary institutions
These and many other events took place by some of our members.
 
In lieu to that, we also represented Ancedram Ado-Odo/Ota Unit in some of the State programmes such as Leadership Retreats, State General Family Meetings, State Congress etc
★Annual Westhern Leadership Retreatat Kwara State, Ilorin on 4th – 6th November, 2021.
★National Congresses at Oyo State (April 2019) and Mowe-Ibafo (April 2024)

*CREATION OF SUB-UNITS*
In order to cover some of the land Ado-Odo/Ota is covering, we tried to extend our wings to some area under Ado-Odo/Ota.
★Agbara Sub-unit was created and officially inaugurated Sunday 24th January, 2021 and was headed by Evang. Adewale Adeoba, Kakaaki Olodumare (2021–2024)
Before another election was conducted for them on Thursday 19th December, 2024 and Evang. Michael Akingbogun was emerged as the new Sub-unit leader.

★Ijoko Sub-unit was also created and officially inaugurated in the same year (Sunday 21st February, 2021) and Pst. Olusola Adeyemi Osifeso was emerged as the Sub-unit leader (2021–2025) before there was a need to appoint an Acting Subunit leader for them on Sunday 16th February, 2025, in person of (Evang. Samuel )

★In November 2024 we went to Singer-Ewupe to create and officially inaugurate another Sub-unit there on Sunday 24th November, 2024 and Evang. Timothy Toriola was emerged as the Sub-unit leader.

*SOME OF OUR CHALLENGES*
There are alot of challenges we encountered during our tenures but we give glory to God that we successfully scaled through. 
Some of them are;
1. Low turnout of our members on our Monthly Family Meeting days.
2. Low turnout of our members to attend some of the State, Westhern and National functions.
3. Inability to have a strong financial support which could afford us to embark on so many assignment and responsibilities.
4.  Inadequate support from the Excos
