THE BENEFITS OF HEARING GOD'S VOICE I was anchoring the first day/segment of the retreat on our WhatsApp platform yesterday and as we were discussing, we discussed the benefits of hearing God's voice and now, I have the urge of sharing it with everyone.  Here are some of the benefits of hearing from God.  1. For God's direction in life: one of your greatest asset in the race of destiny is divine direction, where there is no divine direction in the road of life, the answer is a road to nowhere, difficulties, stampede, stagnancy, sorrow, bitterness, regret and mistake.   This should not happen to you.  Thy word is a lamp into my feet and a light unto my path (PS. 119:105) 2. For correction - if decision is wrong, then, the result would be wrong, then God provides us correction by speaking to us.  (Job 33:  13- 17) 3. For fellowship - we hear from God so that we can fellowship better with him (John 10:27) 4. For breakthrough: Hearing from God provides the tool for breakthrough

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT/ APPRECIATION.*  Learn to appreciate yourselves. Learn to use kind words ; "Thank you",  "Well done", " I am sorry",  "I love you" etc  It doesn't bite , or does it. Those words has Magic it performs in a relationship.  Tell her how gorgeous she looks in her outfits or how handsome he looks in his outfits. Praise her, praise him. Acknowledge her, Acknowledge him. Say words of credit for positive actions taken.  Flee from constant criticism , it breaks the spirit and overtime reduces the enthusiasm in the relationship.  Learn to praise each other for your hard works and accomplishments. When she cooks, thank her, appreciate her efforts ,tell her how delicious the food is and how you enjoying eating her food. When he goes to work and comes back home, appreciate him, when he provides for the family or  provides for your needs, thank him, appreciate him, tell him how proud you are of him. Even while Courting appreciate each other,

*RESPECT YOUR MAN*  ✍🏻✍🏻✍🏻 Respect is an action , not just a feeling . It's a declaration of value for your spouse. Every relationship / marriage is built on mutual respect for one another.  🌹Women respect your husband/ spouse to be unconditional and you will be loved unconditional in return. 🌹Don't talk back at your husband/ spouse to be.  🌹Don't allow your educational qualification or financial status affect your behavior towards him. No matter how wealthy you are show him some respect. 🌹Respect his abilities and masculinity.  🌹Don't just respect him in public do the same in private.  Your level of respect determines the respect he gets from outsiders and even relative. 🌹Avoid the use of foul language. Ephesians 4:29  🌹Show him respect in your communication , don't shout or belittle him with words.  When a woman truly love her husband or spouse to be , her desires will be to obey him and respect him. MARRIAGE Marriage is  responsibility  Marriage is an institution Marriage is a sacred union because it's rooted in the Divine plan of creation. Marriage is the foundation of human society. Marriage is for the matured and not babes. Marriage is honourable in all (Heb 13:4) Marriage is a covenant , it's more than the pretty dresses or two rings. Marriage is not about sharing everything into half, rather it is giving everything to make it work. Marriage is not a child's play , it's real business. Marriage is an avenue to build a formidable force, it fortifies and makes you stronger together. Marriage is sweet Marriage is all about patience and submission.  Marriage is between two people coming together to become one. A male and a female have different and unique character traits which make up their personalities. Women are more relationship oriented and that is why building a family relationship , interaction and healthy communication matter to them.  Men are work oriented

*5W'S AND H*   ✍🏻What is your Identity? ✍🏻Who do you represent?.  ✍🏻Where do you represent him?  ✍🏻Why do you carry his identity? ✍🏻When will you showforth your Identity? ✍🏻How will you showforth his identity? Do well to answer these questions. (Ephesians 2:10): "For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."  We are God's masterpiece, created with a purpose. No matter what our circumstances may be, we are chosen and loved by God. This is our true identity, and it gives us the strength and confidence to live out our calling in the world. *HEARTBREAK IS REAL*  🌹Don't go into a relationship , You didn't seek the face of God.  🌹Don't go into a relationship , because your friends are doing same.  🌹Don't go into a relationship to satisfy your desire. 🌹 Don't go into a relationship that is fruitless.  Heartbreak is real and it hurts badly.  Many where served breakfast last year and they couldn't survive it , while many did survive it and work towards not making same mistake.  While some actually did survived but find themselves in same mistakes all over again. 🙏🏻🙏🏻Stop bringing pain to yourself. The truth is you might survive and you might not. Late last year ,a young guy tried committing suicide by drinking Hypo because his fiancees or let me say his girlfriend dumped him for another man. He only survived because people around him came to his rescue. It's funny though But truth be told , he alone knows where it hurts and how badly it's hurt. Don't be a victim of heartbreak this 20

*TO THE MEN:*  Character is who you are as a person. Your character is basically a composition of your habit.   Many ladies/ Women wants a man who is loyal , honest, who has Integrity, who is Hardworking , who is  Vision driven, intelligent , Courageous and God-fearing etc  Women are naturally attracted to men whose actions meet their words and someone who is open about how they feel. Men work on your character. Don't chase women away from you.  *TO THE WOMEN* : To be prudent means to be cautious and careful especially in spending.  A prudent wife will act and show care and thought for the future.  Men wants to marry a woman who is wise In spending.  Accountability wins a man's heart, man's favour and boost his trust.  Men loves women who are industrious, women who are financially oriented, women who can manage and add to their finance , women with wisdom.  Men likes women who brings reasonable ideas to the table to expand the financial level of the family . *COURTSHIP* ❤️❤️❤️ Ignorance of the ethics of the devil has made many fruitful relationship and marriages crumble.  A man and a woman who  wants to enjoy their courtship / marriage must pray and build solid foundation.  The solid foundation of Christ is everlasting and can't fail. 🥀Courtship is a time to pray , get to know your partners and look out for red flags. Love is said to be blind 😁but marriage is said to be the tool to open the eyes of blind love. SPINSTERHOOD/ BACHELORHOOD. "SPINSTER" is define as "A woman who has remained single beyond the conventional age for marrying". "BACHELOR" is defined as " An unmarried man ". In simple term it's a state  or a phase of life , for males and females, who conventionally have grown beyond the age of marriage. Spinsterhood and Bachelorhood is usually a challenging period. It's a period you are faced with a unique set of pressure, characterized by mixed and troubling emotions.  Spinsterhood and Bachelorhood could be caused by the Lack of suitors , indecisive, fear , deliberate intentions, studies etc To some it's a matter of choice , they aren't just ready to mingle or be committed to someone.
